Coordinator – Fundació Centre de Recerca en Agrotecnologia – Agrotecnio

Agrotecnio is an international center of excellence in agrifood research, part of the Catalan Research Centers network (CERCA). Since 2014, Agrotecnio has driven high-impact research in agronomic and environmental sciences, animal science and food science & technology, while integrating disciplines like agrifood law. The center adopts a comprehensive approach through the One Health paradigm, recognizing the intricate links between human, animal, plant and environmental health. By fostering innovation and knowledge transfer, Agrotecnio advances sustainable solutions for the agrifood sector through its 18 research groups. 

Forest Science and Technology Centre of Catalonia – CTFC

The Forest Science and Technology Centre of Catalonia is a public research centre affiliated with the Generalitat de Catalunya. The CTFC aims to contribute to science in the fields of sustainable forest management, biodiversity, and circular bioeconomy. Its research is organized around three programs: multifunctional forest management; landscape dynamics and biodiversity; and governance, health, and bioeconomy. The research carried out within these programs is focused on environmental function equilibrium, climate change adaptation, or competitiveness along value chains.

Ruđer Bošković Institute – RBI

The Ruđer Bošković Institute is the largest Croatian research institute in the fields of the natural sciences and technology. The institute is a national institution dedicated to research, higher education and provision of support to the academic community, to state and local governments and to technology-based industry. Within the European Union, RBI forms a part of the European Research Area. Worldwide, RBI collaborates with many research institutions and universities upholding the same values and vision.

Croatian Forest Research Institute – CFRI

The Croatian Forest Research Institute is a public scientific institution owned by the Republic of Croatia. The goals and tasks of the research are part of the National Program of Scientific Research of the Republic of Croatia and the Development Program of “Croatian forests” Ltd, Zagreb. The basic goals are the preservation and protection of stability, productivity, biodiversity and genetic resources of forest ecosystems of the Republic of Croatia using natural regeneration and the achieved level of sustainable management.

Çukurova University – Ç.Ü

Çukurova University (CU) — public non-profit university. It is located in Adana, Türkiye. It is a young higher education institution, as it was opened in 1973. As a part of European University Association (EUA), CU is actively building the academic environment. The university is committed to educate individuals who are open to improvement, development and who internalized the idea of democracy and share its scientific backgrounds with other scientific foundations and the society throughout the activities conducted in science, technology, art and research and development works.

Demirsoy Agriculture Company – Demirsoy Tarim

Demirsoy Tarım company was established with the aim of carrying out R&D studies in the field of agriculture in Türkiye, producing high value-added products using new technologies and marketing them worldwide. Demirsoy Tarım started its investments in 2013 in the 25,000 square meter garden it established in Fethiye – Göcek. The company transformed it into a private farm and started to produce a winter black truffle garden and the most valuable lavender species, Lavandula Angustifolia.

University of Siena – UNISI

The University of Siena awards first cycle, second cycle and single long cycle degrees in the following faculties: Economics, Pharmacy, Law, Engineering, Arts and Humanities, Arts and Humanities in Arezzo, Medicine and Surgery, Mathematical, Physical and Natural Sciences and Political Science, as well as several interfaculty degrees. The teaching activities of the University of Siena’s first and second level courses are generally carried out in one of the nine faculties.
Postgraduate education at the University of Siena is carried out in postgraduate schools, master’s programmes, training, advanced training and refresher courses and summer schools, while postgraduate research is performed in the doctoral schools.

Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique -CNRS

A major player in basic research worldwide, the National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS) is the only French organisation active in all scientific fields. Its unique position as a multi-specialist enables it to bring together all of the scientific disciplines in order to shed light on and understand the challenges of today’s world, in connection with public and socio-economic stakeholders. Together, the different sciences contribute to sustainable progress that benefits society as a whole.

Biotecnología Forestal Aplicada S.L. – IDForest

IDForest is a Technology-Based Company. IDForest team investigates fungi and their applications in diverse sectors such as agriculture, construction, bioremediation, food or health. The company seek new approaches to common problems in ecosystems management, agriculture, industry, construction and climate change.

Slovenian Forestry Institute – SFI

The Slovenian Forestry Institute is a public research institute which conducts basic and applied research on forests and forest landscapes, forest ecosystems, wildlife ecology, hunting, forest management, and other uses of the resources and services forests provide. The scientific knowledge from these fields helps further the research on forest biodiversity and its management in relation to climate change.
