WP1. Agricultural diversification: economic and socio-ecological innovation, resilience and sustainability of agroforestry systems 

  • Task 1.1. Studies on agroforestry systems: Innovation, socio-environmental resilience, and sustainability, exploiting the potential of truffles, MAPs, raw materials and plant species for pollen and honey production (M2-18)
  • Task 1.2. Identification of barriers preventing the adoption and scaling up of agroforestry systems (M2-18)

WP2. Promotion of innovative practices in agroforestry systems: practical demonstrations

WP4. Mediterranean agroforestry systems: Institutional dimension, national policies, and legal frameworks

  • Task 4.1. Formal Mediterranean Institutions Shaping Agroforestry Systems (M1-10)
  • Task 4.2. Policies and Legislation: Informal Norms, Values, and Legal Definitions (M10-20)
  • Task 4.3. Policy Recommendations (M20-32)

WP4 Deliverables:

  • D4.1: Report on formal institutions and their roles in shaping agroforestry systems in the Medit. region (M10)
  • D4.2: Report on formal policies, informal norms, and values shaping agroforestry in the Medit. region (M20)
  • D4.3: Policy recommendation document (Policy brief) focused on institutional frameworks, policy support, community engagement, and legal definitions for the Mediterranean region (M32).

WP5. Gender-sensitive capacity building, communication, and outreach
